We are to be the hands and feet of Jesus and provide a helping hand to those who are in physical and financial need in the church and in the community.

Outreach program

Outreach to our church family and community in times of sickness and need. Follow up with our visitors who attend services and events.

Making sure no one gets overlooked at Christian Chapel especially those who visit with us. To encourage new members and offer help in understanding the church at Christian Chapel.

Security program

Making sure our church family is protected from any inside or outside threat.

Keeping the physical plant in working order, contact needed repair companies. Keeping the outside grounds clean and attractive.

Utilizing our technology and advertisement to its fullest capabilities for the Spiritual betterment of the church.

Custodial services

Making sure the kitchen, bathroom, fellowship hall supplies are stocked for all events. Making sure tables and chairs are properly in order in fellowship hall and/or supply room. Checking with the custodial staff to see if they are keeping the assigned buildings clean, etc.

Fellowship hall management

Keeping the dates of all the events known/announced. Working closely with special events program.

  • Organizing and Scheduling all Events
  • All Events especially with fellowship hall needs to be run through this deacon.
  • Calendar made visible to congregation through website, calendar board etc...
Public worship assignments

Making sure we conduct our worship in a descent and orderly manner.

  • Finding Men to lead and participate in our Sunday and Wednesday services.
  • Encouraging our men and Teens to participate in Prayers, Scripture reading, Speaking, Song leading, Communion etc...
  • Calling every week those participating in service
  • Making sure those who are serving know a week in advance their assignment and reminding at least the night before.
  • Encouraging new men to lead
  • Offering classes or a leadership program in the development of our young men
